Altibase recently held the 'APAC Regional Conference 2025' in Bangkok, Thailand, together with its global partners, and the event concluded with great success.

The event was attended by major global partners and customers from Altibase's Asia-Pacific region, including IBM, ATP, Selpasoft, X-Log, SCALAB, iPageOn, and BNH, who shared their experiences and insights. Altibase is the company that launched the world's first commercial hybrid DBMS, integrating in-memory DBMS and on-disk DBMS into a single engine.

Unveiling Next-Generation Product Roadmap

At this conference, Altibase presented its company overview along with the roadmap for major products scheduled for future release, drawing significant interest from attendees. The key announcements included:

• ALTIBASE Sharding 3: A sharding solution providing next-generation scalability that will significantly enhance large-scale data processing performance. 'Sharding' refers to dividing concentrated data into multiple pieces for distributed storage.
• ALTIBASE Windows 2026: A Windows version for embedded systems and industrial systems, enhancing usability across various industrial environments.
• ALTIBASE 8.1: Equipped with enhanced JSON support capabilities and CDC (Change Data Capture) functionality to address the latest data management requirements.

Sharing Mission-Critical System Cases Across Industries

Additionally, at this event, Altibase introduced several success cases demonstrating its support for mission-critical systems across various industries worldwide. Attendees were able to specifically confirm how high-performance databases are being utilized in actual business environments.

Notably, Turkish partner ATP stated, "Altibase is the core database infrastructure of our Order Management system," adding that "it processes order routing between approximately 17 institutions." In fact, about 55% of all orders delivered to the Borsa Istanbul exchange are processed through this system. This clearly demonstrates Altibase's stability and performance, and ATP's presentation was regarded as a representative case showing that Altibase's exceptional performance and high reliability have been validated in actual financial markets.

Emphasizing Strategic Partnership with IBM

The collaborative relationship with IBM, Altibase's strategic partner, also drew attention at this conference. IBM's LinuxONE and AI-based infrastructure create perfect synergy with Altibase's high-performance hybrid database vision, signaling an even stronger partnership ahead.

Global Collaboration to Expand the DB Ecosystem Together

This conference highlighted the collaborative relationships with global partners building the Altibase DB ecosystem together, beyond mere product introductions. Selpasoft, SCALAB, X-Log, and others closely collaborate with Altibase in their respective technical expertise areas, forming an integrated data ecosystem spanning applications, operations, and analytics. By jointly developing and deploying high-performance solutions based on Altibase, they provide optimized data infrastructure to customers across various industries including finance, telecommunications, and public sectors. Through this, Altibase demonstrated its evolution beyond a single DBMS provider into a partner-centric global data platform ecosystem.

Steps Toward Future Data Innovation

Nam Seo-woo, Head of International Sales and Marketing at Altibase, emphasized, "This APAC Regional Conference was not merely a product announcement venue, but became a starting point for Altibase to create a new data innovation ecosystem together with partners worldwide."
