Altibase Hosts 25th Anniversary Event – Announces Innovative Vision for Product Roadmap and Global Market Expansion

ALTIBASE held a grand event on October 16 at Conrad Seoul to celebrate its 25th anniversary & Innovation Day, with key domestic and international customers and partners in attendance.
The event began with a commemorative speech by CEO Helena Park, who congratulated ALTIBASE on reaching this significant milestone and expressed high hopes for the company’s continued expansion as a leading DBMS provider from Korea to the world. Joonho Park, Director of Business Operations, reflected on ALTIBASE’s growth over the past 25 years and unveiled the company’s strategic roadmap for global expansion.
Following this, Seung-won Lee, Director of Development, delivered a presentation centered on ALTIBASE’s technological innovations. He emphasized that Altibase was the world’s first to develop a hybrid DBMS, enabling ultra-high-speed performance and large-scale data processing. Lee also highlighted the latest version, ALTIBASE V7.3, which offers enhanced performance in cloud environments. Looking ahead, he revealed that Altibase is actively researching support for vector data types and Key-Value Cluster to prepare for the A.I era, focusing on achieving faster search performance. He also outlined plans to evolve the product into a high-performance converged DBMS that integrates external data and meets diverse customer demands.
Ik-kyung Bae, Director of Domestic Sales, presented ALTIBASE’s contributions to society and its growth journey, showcasing various success stories. Richard Nahm, Director of Overseas Sales, shared country-specific achievements and laid out plans to collaborate with more global partners, emphasizing the product’s excellence.
Additionally, Dr. Murat Aras from ALTIBASE’s Turkish partner, ATP, shared a case study highlighting the transformative impact ALTIBASE has had on their business and expressed optimism for further global expansion through continued collaboration with Altibase.
After the presentations, attendees provided positive feedback on the high performance and stability of ALTIBASE DBMS, and many expressed keen anticipation for the upcoming product releases and the new technologies they will bring.
