Altibase V7.3 Wins 'the Global Premium Commercial Software Presidential Award' at the 9th Global Commercial Software Grand Exhibition

Altibase announced on the November 17th, 2023, that ALTIBASE Version 7.3 won the 'Korea Commercial Software Association Presidential Award' at the 9th Global Commercial Software Grand Exhibition held at Seoul's EL Tower, where Altibase V7.3 was showcased.
This recognition is a result of Altibase's continuous innovation and technical excellence in the global market. The Global Commercial Software Grand Exhibition, organized by the Korea Commercial Software Association, the Public Procurement Sector Consultation Council, and the Electronic Times, and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Korea Information and Communications Industry Promotion Agency, and the Korea Intelligent Information Society Promotion Agency, aims to encourage companies that have contributed to the development of the domestic software industry.
According to officials, the event provides a platform for introducing outstanding Korean software products and sharing success stories, paving the way for entry into global markets based on the domestic market.
An official stated, "Altibase has strengthened its position in the global market as a representative Korean DBMS for 24 years, starting with the 'Korea SW Grand Award Presidential Award' in 2006." Thy also added, "Having successfully developed and commercialized Real Time In-Memory DBMS, Altibase created the world's first Hybrid DBMS, replacing foreign products in the general DBMS market. Additionally, with the development of Cloud Native Database technology, Altibase is enhancing competitiveness in the global market alongside the cloud market."
Following the 2023 award ceremony, Altibase's Director of Global Sales and Marketing, Richard Nahm, presented examples of Altibase's outstanding technological capabilities being recognized not only in the domestic market but also internationally. He highlighted Altibase AAA Replication (Altibase Active-Active Replication) and its successful implementation in KakaoPay Securities, the first case of a Korean DB being introduced into the ledger system in the Korean financial market, as well as its incorporation into the safety disaster network of AT&T in the United States and Telus in Canada.
Altibase’s CTO Seo Kwang-Ik also elaborated on Altibase's hybrid technology, outlining the distinctive features of ALTIBASE V7.3, including a 490% improvement in performance, real-time dualization DDL SYNC, and broadband dualization compression.
Altibase expressed its commitment to providing the best data management solutions for everyone in the global era, ensuring continued efforts for satisfaction beyond the current state of achievement.
