Altibase, a leading Korean Database Management System (DBMS) company, announced on the 13th that it plans to release Altibase V7.3 in August. Altibase V7.3 is a DBMS optimized for cloud environments to provide customers with high productivity.

Altibase V7.3 has further enhanced reliability through encryption protocols between clients and servers. It also provides Altibase Kubernetes Utilities (AKU), which implements Auto Scale-Out/Scale-In management functions for up to four nodes in cloud environments that use Kubernetes.

In addition, to enhance compatibility and convenience for customers, Altibase has developed the PostgreSQL-dedicated Migration Center tool and DBeaver plugin, enabling their use on various platforms. Through these tools, customers can easily perform database construction, management, query writing, data editing, and data migration using a GUI.

Recently, Altibase obtained PaaS-Ta 6.0 compatibility verification Level 2, the first in order to enhance the stability and compatibility of their product. They also acquired TTA(Telecommunication Technology Association) cloud commercial operability testing certification and GS certification. Altibase has registered their products on AWS, KT Cloud, Naver Cloud Platform, NHN Cloud, Samsung Cloud Platform, and KaKao I Cloud Marketplace, enabling more customers to receive cloud-optimized solutions.
