Altibase announced on January 10th, 2022, that the Altibase Real-Time Technology Research Center was selected as the “Excellent Enterprise Research Center of 2022” hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The excellent company research institute is selected by the Ministry of Science and ICT and is entrusted by the Korea Industrial Technology Association. Both discover and selected corporate research instituted with excellent R&D capabilities, technological innovation, and activities.
The status of an excellent company research institute is maintained for three years, and additional benefits such as preferential treatment when selected for government awards and national R&D projects are given.
The background of the selection of Altibase is an enterprise grade high performance DBMS with its domestic technology, which has been recognized as a source of new business opportunities and expansion of existing business by being supplied to areas where data storage and processing needs are rapidly increasing in the fields of big data, AI, and IoT.
In addition, It is evaluated that as a result of the operation of Altibase Research Center, it will be possible to create added value by intruding Altibase into various industrial areas and to increase the value of new employment and related business for data processing, analysis, and utilization.
