The vendor's hybrid HDB supports transactional and analytic decisions with an ability to blend hot data in RAM and cooler, historical data on disk. The purely in-memory XDB extreme database is aimed at ultra-high-throughput applications seen in telecom, financial, manufacturing, and Internet-of-things applications.
